ABOUT

Lissa

Lissa Hart is no stranger to the Music Industry. Growing up in Arkansas, Lissa had always dreamed of being a Professional Country Music Singer. After finishing school, she moved St. Louis, to begin her dream. After a few years of performing with Nick Nixon and having her own bands, someone mentioned she should be in Branson. So Lissa decided to give it a try and soon landed a job as a backup singer for Andy Williams at the Moon River Theater, for one year. While working for Andy Williams, she appeared on the Tony Orlando Show and performed his favorite song. Later she went to work as Comedian/Singer with Presley’s Country Jubilee, during the Christmas Show '94. Then went to work in Group Sales for Moe Bandy, after 6 years, he decided to leave Branson, so she started Group Sales for a hotel, she also performed Southern Gospel and some Classic Country in the breakfast room and performed Classic Country, in Lampe, MO, at the Ozark Mountain Resort. Lissa has performed in many Tribute Shows and Traveling Country Western Music Shows.

In 2012, she decided to move to Nashville, to continue her dream. She appeared on the Ernest Tubb Texas Troubadour Theater. Also, won several contests while in Nashville. Ready to record her first album, Lissa spent a year looking for music to put on her new album, she says, “I’m not a poet and I know it, I don’t write, I just sing other people’s songs.” After looking for a year for material for this project, she ran into a friend, Kent Goodson (former keyboard player for George Jones). She told him she wanted to record a Classic Country CD, he mentioned he had a song he wrote called “Take Me To Heart”, she listened to it and decided to record it. With this being the only original song on the cd, Lissa says “With my last name being Hart and the song being Take Me To Heart, the album will be named “Take Me To Heart.” Take Me To Heart is charting on many stations across the US and Overseas.

“WELL AFTER LISTENING AND QUITE HONESTLY AND AWESOME EXPERIENCE. LISTENING TO THE ALBUM “TAKE ME TO HEART” FROM THE SINGER LISSA HART. SHE HAS THAT SOUND THAT IS ONE OF THE AGES. AT TIMES, I HEARD VOCALS THAT WERE CLOSELY RESEMBLING THE LATE PATSY CLINE. MORE SO AS I LISTENED TO HER ALBUM CALLED “TAKE ME TO HEART” LISSA BRINGS TO LIFE A SOUND THAT IS UNMATCHED AND SOOTHING AND IS SUPREMELY BOLD, BUT BEAUTIFUL. THROUGHOUT THE ALBUM LISSA BRINGS IN THE FEELINGS OF TRUE SOUL. LISSA DRIVES THIS SOUND ALL THE WAY THROUGH THIS SUPERB AND MASTERFUL ALBUM. AS I LISTENED THROUGH, EACH SONG LISSA BRINGS IN THE ELEMENT OF ALMOST COUNTRY, BUT QUITE HONESTLY MORE THAN THAT. LISSA BRINGS IN THE SOUNDS OF THE LADIES THAT TAUGHT US ALL, WHAT AND HOW MUSIC SHOULD BE SUNG. LISSA HAS THAT ABILITY TO PROJECT THIS, THROUGHOUT THIS WONDERFUL ALBUM. SONG AFTER SONG LISSA AND HER TREMENDOUS VOCAL RANGE HAS A SINCERITY THAT RINGS ALL THE WAY THROUGH AND ADDS HER FULL FLAVOR TO HER MUSIC SELECTION....”
